Anima Φωνή (Anima Foni) - is a profound, multi-layered name that combines the Latin "Soul" and the Greek "Voice." It emphasizes the harmony between the inner world (spirituality, intuition) and external expression (creativity, self-discovery). This name resonates like a mantra, a call to dialogue between the depths of the soul and what we convey to the world. In this self-portrait project, I delve into the depths of the division between identity and the inner voice. What is this voice that resides within me? What does it speak, and what role does it play in the architecture of my life? How does it shape my daily choices — why is it sometimes subdued, and at other times, it dictates its own rules? Often, this voice pushes me towards creating something strange, something I cannot easily explain. Yet, I rarely find a way to make it stand on my side. Who is this inner guide? Does it truly belong to me? Perhaps it is only the voice of my mind, echoing thoughts I have yet to fully understand? Or is it my intuition, weaving different realities together with delicate threads? Or maybe it is something else entirely — a shadow of schizophrenia, a resonance of foreign ideas intercepted by my mind from the infinite waves of the universe? And if this is indeed the case, then who am I? Where does the line between me and this voice reside? Which thoughts can be truly called my own? Who ultimately makes the choice? Perhaps it is nothing more than a projection of my physical and emotional state — a kind of barometer that shifts in harmony with my inner experiences. Or perhaps I am just an empty space through which countless streams of universal energy pass. In these questions lies more than the pursuit of answers. Within them is my path to understanding myself, accepting my duality, and perhaps even acknowledging that this duality holds the key to truth.
